Head of Marine Operations & Safety
Credentials: Ahli Nautika Tingkat I (ANT I) Master Mariner Certificate, STCW Certified, 25 years of experience navigating the Indonesian archipelago, former officer with a leading Indonesian commercial shipping line.
Bio: Captain Budi is the guardian of our on-water safety and excellence. His knowledge of Komodo’s currents, anchorages, and hidden coves is encyclopedic. He is responsible for the rigorous vetting of every vessel and captain in our portfolio, ensuring they not only meet but exceed both Indonesian (Direktorat Jenderal Perhubungan Laut) and international maritime safety standards. Captain Budi’s calm demeanor and uncompromising commitment to safety make him the trusted authority for all our marine operations.

Credentials: Certified Travel Associate (ASITA), Diploma in Hospitality Management from Swiss Hotel Management School, former Head Concierge at a Forbes Five-Star rated resort in Bali.

With a career honed in the world’s most demanding luxury environments, she possesses an innate ability to anticipate needs and translate desires into flawlessly executed itineraries. Her ‘little black book’ of contacts in Flores and beyond is legendary, allowing her to arrange everything from private dinners on secluded beaches to meetings with leading marine biologists.
